HTL PROCESS AT NAIBATI - NAKELO (8th - 12th June, 2009)

A clan called Naibati had invited the ministry to facilitate the Healing the Land process at their community on the second week of June. This community is one of the few communities in the area that are well of and have business and even some of them now leave in Australia. But in all that they have achieved, they knew that something isn't right with them - and that is their relationship towards one another has really deteriorated and they have bad feelings towards one another and this has even passed down to the next generation(their sons and daughters). Their building construction business colapsed and some of them had been sacked from the company where they worked. They also have a church on their piece of land who is pastored by one of them (Pst Malakai) but he agreed that he had find difficulty in having the church grow, and he knew that something is wrong. Even on the land where the church is built there have been dispute over that amongst the clan which brought division among them.

During the htl meetings they were taught regarding the sins of man has caused God to curse the man and land. They were also taught that God only dwell amongst people who live in unity. At the end of the week they repented for idolatry (their forefathers used to worship idols), adultery, breaking of covenants, bloodshed and also for not giving their tithes and offering. There was also a break loose of the Spirit of God as people reconcile amongst themselves. Even their family members who live in Australia had to travel to Fiji to attend this important even. The meeting climaxed when the whole clan have all agreed to covenant their families, clan and land back to God, which they did and such peace and joy came to the hearts of all people. So the healing of God has began in the hearts of the people and restoration of relationships. Yes this clan is on a new journey towards their destiny with God leading them at every step.

Healing the Land to Healing the Prison

Above are members of the Healing the Land Team that have been ministrying in Prison.

On the first week of May, God opened a door for effective work in one of the 3 prisons within Suva. It is called the "Reformation Training Center" or RTC which is commonly known in Fiji. It is a place where young law offenders are held behind bars from the ages of 17years - 30years. There are six dormitories altogether that host the 100 plus prisoners at RTC. It is also known as the breeding ground to far even greater criminal activities. Prisoners who are held captive here, firstly are first time offenders and are taken in for committing minor crimes but when they are released these same faces would normally re-appear before the court but now with great criminal offenses like murder, bank robbery e.t.c. So a survey was done by the Fiji Prisons Department and it was found that while this young people were at RTC, they normally plan and strategies for much bigger criminal activities and when they get out of prison they would commit them and it is also a way of rebelling against society for not accepting them. These prisoners come out of RTC and enter into the Maximum prison in Naboro. So we were told by the prison wardens if the young offenders at RTC are transformed, the Maximum prison would also be transformed and even be left empty.
For the month of May, the ministry have been visiting and taking healing the training at RTC on Thursdays and Fridays from 4.30pm - 5.30pm. The young prisoners were taught regarding the curses of God on our lives for the sins of our forefathers. For the first time for them to hear such a comforting statement after years of rejection by society and even their own families. When they heard that they are just bearing the bad fruits of a bad seed that was sown into their family, village sometimes ago by their forefathers (Deuteronomy 5:7-9)(Matt 7:17-20). They were taught that to make the entire tree good (self, family, village), is to uproot the bad roots that are there in their family lines, villages. As they hear this; inmates could not hold back tears and wept bitterly before God, repentance also took it's toll as their eyes were opened for the first time to this truth and there have also been great responses from them. There is a great interest from inmates towards the Gospel. Most of them asked us to be praying for them as they are released they would take the message of 2CHR 7:14 to their respective villages and families. We have not only ministered to them but also gone the extra mile in meeting some of their physical needs. Currently we have been told that we can hold a full service inside the prison complex and that is when their respective families are invited to that meeting. We are praying that God would lead this gathering into a reconciliation between the prisoners and their families and not forgetting the prison wardens and the prisoners. We are believing God that htl process will go into the prison. Yes we are believing God to transform the prison and also for God to raise mighty man of God inside those four walls.

HEALING THE LAND VISION SPREADS TO THAILAND

For the last two years Rev Vuniani Nakauyaca has been invited to Thailand to speak at Healing the Land conferences in different cities. Almost every time he returns from Thailand, definitely there would be an invitation already on it's way for him to return. It just shows how desperate and hungry are peoples' heart for God. So in November 2008, he was again invited to Thailand to speak and actually help the people facilitate the htl process at conference venues. He spoke at 3 different cities whereby God just moved powerfully and even the priest of Bhuddah were also present at the meetings. People's desperation for God is taking it's toll that they have again invited Rev Nakauyaca to come over in February 2009. God is definitely at work in this nation and there have been reports coming in that some communities are experiencing God's healing come to them.
Jeremiah 16:19-21 "O Lord, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in time of distress, to you the nations will come from the ends of the earth and say, "Our fathers possed nothing but false gods, worthless idols that did them no good. 21. "Therefore I will teach them - this time I will teach them my power and my might. Then they will know that my name is theLord."
We believe that this is what will happen to a nation that has worshipped idols as it's national religion....they will literally come to God and confess that their forefathers have worshipped false worthless gods that did them no good. And God will teach them His power and might....and they will know the name of the Lord..... Yes! Let it be Lord...!

RIVER OF HEALING FLOWS TO THE ABORIGINAL COMMUNITIES - WA, AUSTRALIA

On January 5th - 15th 2009, Reverend Vuniani Nakauyaca was one of the guest speakers at the "Let the River Flow - Let the Fire Burn conference in Perth, Australia. The conference was hosted by Arrowhead Ministry in Perth. The gathering was attended by Aboriginal brothers and sisters from across Australia, also attending the gathering were different individuals from different communities. Rev Vuniani Nakauyaca spoke on Healing the Land from 2Chronicles 7:14 and really challenged the people that they have to humble themselves before God and repent for all the defilements done on the land if they want to see Him heal their hearts, families and communities. He also emphasised to them the importance of agreeing to the true nature of sin on the land and the willingness to repent and choosing the way of righteousness. The Aboriginal people group were also told of the importance of them taking their rightful place in God by standing up on behalf of their forefathers and the defilements they had done on the land on the one hand whilst the later immigrants were told of the importance of making right their wrong deeds towards the original occupants(Aborigines). There was great response from the people and a stake was pegged to the ground when htl process began right there at the meeting venue. It was God who just orchestrated things together and reconciliation began with the different people groups and also the sins of the land were confessed to God by the Aboriginal friends, taking their rightful place in God - cause they are the original occupants of the land. It was such a powerful time as people began to sense a release in their hearts. The gathering climaxed at a site where it used to be the "LOST GENERATION". It is a place where in 1933, the Aboriginal children were taken away from their different homes, communities and were made to stay at this particular place by the later immigrants. The Aboriginal children were taught a new lifestyle and were cut off from their families, communities and culture. So this has caused wounds in the hearts of the Aboriginal people until today. And these wounds can only be healed by the power of forgiveness through the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. So at the vary particular site Rev Vuniani Nakauyaca led the htl process whereby reconciliation took it's toll between the Aboriginal people and the later immigrants who humbled themselves before God and ask forgiveness for all the wrong doings their forefathers did and the wounds and pain it has caused. As reconciliation took place the Presence of God just invaded the whole place and people could hardly stand on their feet. People were crawling on the ground and crying out to God for forgiveness. Also present were some young people from the Aboriginal communities and the older generation representing the later immigrants again humbled themselves and asked forgiveness from these young people who represented the lost generation and the young people released forgiveness and were prayed for and released from bondage in Jesus Name...There was a great release in the spiritual realm as the people stood together as one. Yes! the river of Gods healing is flowing into the Aboriginal communities.

GODS HEALING COMES TO POND INLET

In July 2008 our missionaries to the North Canada, Aminiasi and Semisi were invited with Roger Armbruster of the Canada Awakening Ministries to facilitate the Healing the Land process. It was such a powerful time as the community of Pond Inlet responded to Gods word. Below is a report from one of the key leaders from the community that helped co-ordinated the gathering:

"Hello, Bula, tauvauvusi Fijimiut from Pond Inlet, Nunavut. I praise and honor God for what He is doing in the north and what He is doing between the North and the Fiji nation as it says in the Bible:
Awake, north wind, and come, south wind! Blow on my garden that its fragrance may spread abroad. Let my lover come into his garden and taste its choice fruits. Song of Solomon 4:16
On July 2008 Healing the Land Ministry came to Pond Inlet and did the healing the land process with the elders, community leaders and community members. We saw many people repent from past sins and for defiling the land. We also witnessed crying of pains and releasing of all the bondages. There were many healing, restoration and reconciliation among the people, the team also visited homes to bless the families and their homes.

Before they arrived I was praying about this all night, and the Bible verse came to me:
Joel 2:18-29; Especially "18 Then was the Lord jealous for His land and had pity on His people.
19 Yes, the Lord answered and said to His people, Behold, I am sending you grain and juice [of the grape] and oil, and you shall be satisfied with them; and I will no more make you a reproach among the [heathen] nations." and the rest of the verses.
This really confirmed what the Lord wanted to do in our land.
The blessing already started even before the team came to Pond, there were fish caught right in front of our community, and they were huge sized fish too. And during their stay, Semisi caught several fish. After they left, there was more great abundance of fish, blueberries, ptarmigan, foxes and narwhals.
On November 2008, we were more blessed when the narwhals were trapped on the frozen ice, people of Pond were granted to harvest all of them by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, which is quite rare for them to give the Hunter and Trappers Organization a full support in any way. For 2 weeks they were harvested and the total narwhals caught were 629. With this abundant blessing we were able to bless other communities in Nunavut and Nunavik by sending them muktaaq (narwhal skin, which we eat).

The community were in high spirits and joyous. The Hunter and Trappers Organization were praising God for the blessing even though most of them are non-church attenders, they could see that after the July healing the land process that something shifted and God has opened the windows of heaven of blessings. People of Pond Inlet went on their local radio station daily, people calling in and praising the Lord.
The community wanted to thank the Lord and have a community celebration, as church leaders, we decided to invite Aminiasi, Semisi and Roger Armbruster to celebrate with us. Aminiasi and Semisi arrived on December 18, 2008 and the next day there was a great community feast and celebration and they were able to take part in the celebration with our community members.

For the rest of 4 days we praised the Lord at our local church, On Sunday night we had the youth lead in worship and praise and in prayers. As a youth pastor, the Lord was telling me that we have to bless you (Fijians) for all the work and dedication you are doing. We prayed for Israel and for your nation, Fiji. We felt that we needed to bless you for all the great things you are doing with Nunavut, we could really feel the connection it was very powerful!

And on Monday night, Hunters and Trappers Organization were being blessed for all the great work that they were doing. As I mentioned before, most are non-church goers and when they were being prayed for, they could feel the anointing and they were testifying what how God has blessed us and some were shouting hallelujah! During the time of the narwhal harvest, they reported that the RCMP didn’t have any one complaining or being taken to jail. And the Health Centre was very quiet; the nurses were in peaceful time, no emergencies. The HTO chairman smelled the sweet smell of the Holy Spirit at the church, which he has never experienced before.
For the rest of few days we prayed for homes and have evening praise and worship. People of Pond Inlet are truly blessed; we give all the praise to the Mighty King, our Heavenly Father, Jehovah Jira! Glory to His name!"

RENEWAL IN THE CHURCH

2 Chronicles 7:14; here we see God literally speaking to the church - "if my people who are called by my name...." We the church are the ones that God is speaking to in this passage of scripture. In the first week of December of 2008, the healing the land ministry was invited to facilitate the healing the land process at a Brethren Church in Nausori within the Fiji Isalands. The Church has been wanting to move to it's new land and build but for some unknown reasons they haven't been able to do so and this have led the church leaders to begin asking some serious questions. Their questions were answered when they were at a seminar where Rev Vuniani Nakauyaca (Founder and President of the Healing the Land Ministry) was invited to speak, as they received the word of God they knew that this is something the church has to do asap. Months after the seminar,the Nausori Gospel Church finally invited the ministry to come in and facilitate the htl process. It was one week meeting, and the church were really desperate God to reveal Himself to them. As the week progresses, God begin to reveal things in the church that they need to repent of. Also God began to reveal that relationship within church members were not right and the church begins reconcile towards one another. Even the children would go their parents and ask them for their forgiveness for all the pain they have caused them likewise the parents. The church elders wash each others feet with tears in their eyes. So the church really meant business with God during that week and would expose openly before God what was happening in the church, cuase that is the only way for God to open the heavens and rain down healing and blessings upon them. The week ended with identificational repentance - the land where they wanted to build the church for the last several years was leased and occupied by an Indian family who whorshiped idols and stones in that vary palce. There were two families that actually owned the land and their father gave the land for lease to others in a way to generate income to their family but they didn't realize that at the same time they were giving legal right for idols to come into their land which God forbids. So these two families knelt down before God with the whole church behind them and they corporately confess the sins of their fathers and ask God for his mercy and forgiveness and also recovenant back the land to God.
Just one week after the htl process at this church, testimonies begin to be reported that God is begining to bless the church. People are begining to see God in a new way. Job oppotunities came running to their doors even without applying. On their first Sunday after the htl process their morning service started at 10am and they finished at 2pm - so it was for the first time for them to experience this time of Holy Spirit invasion! Their Patsor by the name of Wili couldn't preach because that morning beacause the Presence of God just took over and they just sat and wept before their God. Pastor Wili told us (htl ministry) that it was for the first time for them to have that experience and they are hunger for more. Yes God is at work when His people come to Him with a heart of humility and in desperation for Him - He promised that He would come........
