From 2003 to 2013, our journey is has been an adventurous one and it has been 10 years of the miraculous. Last week we celebrated our 10th year anniversary and it was a time of thanking God and celebrating Him for everything He has done in communities around the nation, the Pacific region and beyond. As Isaiah 63 says, "I will tell of His kindness, and His deeds of which He is to be praised." The gathering was attended by delegates from communities that have had the htl process come to them and have witness the Presence of God transform their lives, families and communities as a whole.
The celebrations were held at two different venues. The first was held at Nabutautau in the Navosa highlands (where the atonement of the killing of Rev. Thomas Baker took place in 2003). The other celebration took place at the HTL Base in Nausori.
It was four days of feasting on the GOODNESS of God, as communities share their testimonies, it at times leaves you speechless and wondering, if what you are hearing, is really happening or are you dreaming. Their testimonies were very similar to that of the widow of Zarepath, when she came back to Elijah and told him that he is truly a man of God and the Word of God from his mouth is the truth, this is after she experienced the Word of God spoken to her by the man of God came to pass. For these communities the promises of God in 2 Chronicles 7:14 has been fulfilled and they are a living testimony to this as God has healed their community and blessings has come upon the land as never before.
For the last 10 years its has really been a great privilege to be able to travel by truck, ferry, airplane and at times walk for hours to communities in Fiji and around the world with the message of hope where hopelessness prevails, and to see smiles on peoples faces after each htl processes is what kept us going all these years. And at this 10th year anniversary celebration to still see them smiling is a blessing and can never be substituted with anything else. Their facial expression says its all!
Well it truly is an adventurous journey that was full of SURPRISES. We thank God for all the different seasons that the ministry went through. We thank Him for the times of happiness, joy and times of sorrow and sadness. We thank you Lord for the lives of Your servants whom You have called back to You and we say, "it is well with our soul." We also thank you Lord for the great privilege of partnering with You in the work of Your Kingdom and it is only possible by your GRACE!
